Anyone may visit the download page to obtain the latest cfiXML schemas and documentation.  If you are an active implementer of cfiXML schemas in your software, you may wish to participate more actively in cfiXML working groups as a Developer to ensure that the cfiXML schemas meet your needs for commercial or in-house software implementations.

In this capacity you can review the latest working versions of the schemas, make suggestions and change requests, keep posted on schema and software tool implementation issues, participate in online discussion forums, make and submit trial versions of schema improvements, etc.

cfiXML is supported as an open source development community using the facilities offered by SourceForge.   These developer facilities include the following features:

  • discussion forums - where members can express their point of view on the schemas or other areas of interest
  • mailing lists - keeping members informed of new schemas and changes to cfiXML
  • working groups - send in new schemas for consideration.
  • tools - download free tools to help in understanding and using the schemas.

To become an active developer you must:

  1. Register yourself as a user of SourceForge
(pick New User via SSL in the upper left corner of the SourceForge home page.
  2. Go to the cfidev Home Page and send email to one of the cfidev project administrators to request developer status
